George Tanious '20 gains kudos for work as Red Frame Consult

In the Summer of 2020, economics major George Tanious ¡®20 joined the Red Frame Lab for a consulting internship - where he gained skills and ongoing work.

Tanious served on a team of consultants for businesses in Granville, to launch a website to support purchases and gift cards for Granville businesses. He worked with many business owners, including Stefanie Lauvray of stationary store Just WRITE.

Lauvray wrote to share a glowing review of Tanious¡¯ work, and of how that work continued even after the end of the internship.

I wanted to thank you again for the exposure to the Red Frame Lab Consulting group. George Tanious, graduated senior, was on the Just WRITE team as well as the Shop Granville team. After both projects came to a close we continued to contract with George on building an e-commerce website from ground up with Shop Granville and evolving the Just WRITE website.

We couldn¡¯t have launched such a big program if it wasn¡¯t for George. Yesterday we sold 102 Student/Staff discount cards. George created the entire design, layout and navigation for the website, managed nearly 30 different businesses with content, photographs, edits and more. He handled every shift and change with grace and ease. Cool as a cucumber, he is an absolute pleasure to work with.

George will continue to work on both businesses and help us evolve as we learn more this season. His next project is helping us launch a program on Shop Granville with Hotels and Inns to maximize foot traffic for Granville businesses with tourists.
