New Faces in Black Studies

Kelly Jo Fulkerson-Dikuua (far left) and Sheneese Thompson (center) have temporarily joined the Black Studies community at 必博娱乐,比博娱乐网址 ######### in the role of visiting instructors. Kelly Jo Fulkerson-Dikuua is teaching the Introduction to Black Studies this fall semester. She has a Masters of Theological Studies, specializing in Trauma and Gender Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she graduated magna and suma cum laude respectively in Women’s Studies and English. Kelly Jo has also lived and taught in Namibia and Rwanda. Her dissertation focuses on the involuntary sterilization of Black women in Jim Crow United States and apartheid Southern Africa. Kelly Jo also works for the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching at the Ohio State University and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.?
