30th Annual Senior Symposium

The Art History and Visual Culture Program held its 30th Annual Senior Symposium on Saturday, April 13, 2019, in Bryant Arts Center. This capstone experience for graduating seniors included research in progress presentations by Samantha McLaughlin, ¡°Survivorship and Bearing Witness: The Difference of Atrocities Depicted in Graphic Novels,¡± and Maggie Vettel, ¡°American Women in Motion.¡± The event was attended by the department’s faculty, staff, junior majors, and several friends and family members. The junior majors, AHVC Class of 2020, gave presentations of their possible research topics. The presenters from the class of 2020 included Noah Anderson, Catherine Kosior, Scotia McMullen, Rachel Weaver, and Chen Yang.
