必博娱乐,比博娱乐网址 ######### University welcomes Vail Visiting Artist Jo-ey Tang presenting an Artist Talk.
Tang is a Hong Kong-born, American artist and curator based in Columbus, Ohio (USA), and Paris (France). He explicates and enacts the circulation of images and objects and the life cycle of ideas, in photography, objects, video, and gestures. He founded curatorial project The Notary Public in 2010 in New York City in his apartment while a graduate student at New York University, and was arts editor of literary journal n+1 from 2009-2014, and curator at Palais de Tokyo, Paris 2014 and 2015.
He is currently Director of Exhibitions of Beeler Gallery at Columbus 必博娱乐,比博娱乐网址 of Art & Design, where he calibrates each season’s programming to its specific temporality. In 2018-2019, he curated arms ache avid aeon: Nancy Brooks Brody / Joy Episalla / Zoe Leonard / Carrie Yamaoka: fierce pussy amplified, which explored in four chapters the resonances between the individual practices of the members of queer art collective fierce pussy.
